#1 on ABC - Pioneering Branded Entertainment
I started my career in branded entertainment when it was in its infancy and helped to play a role in shaping how brands use it today.
I first wrote for the popular series Minds of Medicine in Detroit. The 30-minute primetime show produced for Henry Ford Hospital was such a hit that we created a second series called Vital Signs and expanded it to other brands in primetime across the country on ABC, NBC and CBS.
Produced both in Chicago and Philadelphia, I helped to make Vital Signs a successful venture as many episodes were rated number #1 in their time slot often beating out syndicated shows such as Friends and even the NBA playoffs and Major League Baseball’s World Series.
I was nominated for an Emmy in Chicago and went on to win two Emmys in Philadelphia.
The shows have also received many Axiem, Telly and Target awards for excellence in television media.
